HYPECASK: 3D PRINTED FLYING MACHINE

9:45 am - 10:30 am

Description:

OWN IDEAS FLY BETTER: A BREAKDOWN OF OUR FULLY 3D-PRINTED TRICOPTER

After crashing a flying Tricopter kit once too often, Florian Horsch decided to build his own, using the full capabilities of 3D-printing. Instead of just replicating the old parts, he started from scratch.

This session will give insight on how to leverage the enormous potential of additive manufacturing during the design process. On top of this, you will learn about the powerful open-source community OpenPilot.org and the latest advancements in FPV (First Person Viewing) flying currently researched by the HypeCask team.

SPEAKER: FLORIAN HORSCH

(Co-Founder of HypeCask & Assistants from the HypeCask Team)

Florian Horsch is a well-known 3D-printing enthusiast and community member of the first hour. He is a profound communicator and is currently sharing his insights into 3D-printing through his book 3D-Printing for Everybody, published by the renowned Hanser Verlag.

Florian will soon receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. Always one step ahead, he decided to launch his own enterprise in 2013 - HypeCask, a company dedicated to gathering creative minds and problem solvers to evaluate and make use of the latest hypes.

Their current project is the Delta Tower, one of the tallest 3D-printers on the market.
